This week is Closet Week for our 28 Day Organization Challenge. Each day this week has been broken down into specific types of clothes to go through but as inspiration for your whole week I wanted to share some well organized closets to give you ideas of what to do with your clothes after you've gone through them.
Do you want to know what I think is the most important tip for making your closet look organized? Having matching hangers! You can get any type of hanger you want but having them all match puts all your clothes at the same level and makes your closet look more organized even when you've done nothing else to it! I also love using shelf dividers for folded clothes like in this photo. I think it's important to keep it all organized, but if color coding isn't your thing don't stress. I find it's easy to color code my hanging clothes, but I don't love the idea of doing the same for folded clothes. I know I won't take the time to keep it up, so I make sure it's nice and neat and works for me.
Again, MATCHING HANGERS. Check out these labeled laundry baskets and labeled bins on the top shelf for other items too!
Here's a photo of my own closet to give you a real life example of some of these tips in action!
I hope those give you some ideas of what you can do in your own closet! I can't wait to see your before and after photos, make sure to post them with the tag #iwpchallenge
