Recipe: Margaritas

Tuesday, July 02, 2013

Technically, I know, margaritas are not a food... but they are a summer staple around my house. And, let me tell you, my husband makes the best margaritas for sitting out on the deck... just the right amount of sweet with just the perfect tang of lime. Yum…

8 oz Sweet and Sour
1 1/2  oz Sauza Commemorativo Tequila
1 oz Cointreau
1 oz Presidente Brandy
Juice of Half a Lime

Take a cut side of a lime and run it on the top of a glass then dip in coarse sea salt. Mix together all ingredients in a shaker along with crushed ice. Strain and pour into your prepared glass. Makes 2 servings because it's always more fun to drink with a friend.
