Counting Down the Days

Can you believe it's time to start thinking about Christmas? Me either... but I love this time of year. Don't get me wrong - it's a crazy workaholic time for me. We get more orders in November & December than any other time of year so we work literally day and night (weekends too!). But there's something about Christmas that makes it all feel okay.

We have lots of traditions here at our house, but one of my favorites is our Advent Activities. Each day of December, the kids pull an activity out of the Advent calendar for us to do as a family. It's great for me because it's a nice reminder to stop and enjoy the holidays with the people I love the most.

I thought it would be fun to show you a few some simple DIY Advent Calendar ideas that you can make in an afternoon:

Using spice tins and a craft punch, this is a simple DIY

An old crate & some Dollar Tree Christmas Balls makes this a simple project.

And if you have kids... you know you have extra Christmas socks for this simple project.

Can't wait for the holidays to be here!
