Family Photo Shoot

Wednesday, June 02, 2010

About a week ago, I got a little bee in my bonnet about taking some shots of the family... I wanted to capture a couple of key images - Jackbird with his snaggletooth smile and Katbird with her bunny.
While the incessant need to carry that rag around and suck on her fingers drives me CRAZY, I know that the time is flying by and before I know it I'll kinda miss that little bunny friend running around with us (although I won't ever miss tearing the house/car/backyard apart to find her in moments of panic when she can't be found. oh, and yes... bunny is a girl we've been informed
Here's a few shots from the day we just used our timer function on the camera and tried to make the best of a super hot day:

  1. OH my - such gorgeous pictures Tonya! We had family pictures last weekend and my daughter insisted on bringing her blanket... it's name is "beets" - she named it! The photographer was really sweet about including "beets" in some pictures and NOT in others! :)

  6. Oh I've done this! You need a tripod, a good point and shoot with macro on or an Auto focused DSLR and a good venue. Your photos sure looks amazing! What a happy family.
