{a shot of our backyard after our snow}

Our Valentines weekend started off with us waking up with no electricity after Dallas received over 11 inches of snow. Our house was a balmy 45 degrees.

But the kids had fun and we did too. Lucky us to have such good friends willing to take in us refugees.

Sunday was full of Valentine flowers,

heart shaped pizzas,

and perhaps the nicest Valentine I've ever received. I do think 6 year old boys give the nicest notes, don't you?
