My Kind of Periodic Table

Saturday, January 19, 2013

Don't know the difference between a Times New Roman and a san serif font? (gasp!) I have a solution for you... or if you are like me and are slightly addicted to fonts, the perfect companion to your computer table. A periodic table of fonts. I know it's slightly dorky to equate fonts with elements of science - but you have to admit... it's pretty cool. Definitely on my list of things I want to hang in my house.

Or if you'd rather create your own handwriting, here's there's an easy and free way to do just that. Here's a sample of mine:

All you have to do is go here and follow the directions. All you need is a printer and scanner. Go on, I know you totally want to give it a try!

I *need* that poster :-) And I'd totally download your handwriting font if I saw it while perusing font sites.

THANK YOU for this post! I've been told many times that I should have my handwriting made into a font... or 3, because I have many.

I'm currently in the process of stockpiling Holiday cards that I make by recycling old Christmas cards and various paper products. I've been trying to think of what I'm going to do finish the backs and I think that I'll try doing my handwriting as a font, so I can just type up what I want on the back, but with a personal touch. My intention is to sell them this Fall to raise money for Autism research & awareness.

So thanks! And I do love the Periodic Table of Fonts. It's really cool.
