Tag, I'm It

I was tagged not once, but twice by two fabulous bloggers. Christina from Down and Out Chic & Callie from Grayson: A Different Shade of Grey.

What's your current obsession?Grilling  and eating outside- I want to learn how to grill really well this summer!

What's your weirdest obsession? Um, Lost (the tv show). Seriously sometimes I fully dork out and check message boards just to get some kind of theory going. And, of course, when I think I've figure it out... I'm totally wrong. I love watching Wednesday nights but have to admit I hate this whole weird time travel thing the show has made.

What are you wearing today?Workout clothes from Lululemon - I actually made it to pilates today.

Why is today special? It rained all weekend and now here it is, beautiful with not a cloud in the sky. Can't wait to take the kids for a walk this afternoon. Any day can be special - for no reason at all.

What would you like to learn to do? Sew without a pattern

What's for dinner today? Avocado, Bacon, Lettuce and Grilled Tomato Sandwiches, hummus and strawberries
What's the last thing you bought?A Judith Jack ring on sale at Nordstrom Rack (75% off).

What are you listening to right now? My happiness playlist on my iPod. It's just a playlist of songs that make me smile... and that I can sing to in the car.

What's your favorite weather? When it's around 75 degrees and not too humid so we can spend the entire day outdoors.

What's your most challenging goal right now? I'm wanting to open my own little shop - gathering the courage to start!

What do you think about the person who tagged you? Both have amazing blogs that I find inspirational on a daily basis! They both seem like people I would be friends with in real life... not just the blogging world.

If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be?In the Virgin Islands... no question. One of those fabulous houses where the interior and exterior intermingle.

Favorite vacation spot?We are going to Italy this summer. I haven't been since my wedding, so we are going to revisit the church where we were married. Can't wait.

What would you like to have in your hands right now?A winning lottery ticket so my husband could quit his job and just hang out with me all day long.

What would you like to get rid of? Clutter.

If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go?New Jersey to visit my sister - I miss not having her in the same city (or state!) as me.

Which language do you want to learn? Spanish - I tried Rosetta Stone but didn't really have the time to focus on it as much as I would have liked. Oh well... try, try again another day.

What did you dream of last night? don't know. :)

What's your favorite thing about the city you live in? Love that it's a big city where we can go to art museums, plays and all that fancy stuff. But  live just on the outskirts, so it's a little more small town feel even though it only takes me 20 minutes to get to the heart of the city.

What's your favorite piece of clothing in your own closet? My new Marc Jabob dress that I bought at a resale shop in Austin. Such a find!

What's your dream job?Doing it now - being at home with my kids.

If you had $150 now what would you spend it on? A couples massage at the Nordstrom spa.

Fashion pet peeve? People who have to wear the latest style even when it doesn't suit them or their body. Don't force it, people.

Do you admire anyone's style? I get style inspiration from so many different places: people I know, people I don't know, magazines, blogs... just about anywhere

Describe your personal style. Fairly relaxed but never sloppy. In the winter, my staple is my jeans and a cute top. In the summer I live in dresses - cotton dresses.

Who's fashion show would you want tickets to?Christian Siriano just because I think he's fierce.

Who's closet would you want to raid? Kimora Simmons... have you seen how many pairs of shoes that woman has? Ah, heaven.

What are you most proud of? (my question) Raising my kids with morals and values.
