A Nature Walk

Each year around this time, my family goes on the hunt for Monarch butterfly eggs to watch hatch into beautiful caterpillars, which in turn devour leaf after leaf on their journey to becoming a butterfly. We are in the migratory path of the butterflies making their way north and are just lucky enough to live a mere half mile away from one of their favorite egg laying fields.

The field is adjacent to a beautiful native park, where you can wind and twist through tall trees and brush and feel about a million miles away from the big city. This past weekend, after finding 5 Monarch eggs to take home to "raise," we trekked into the dense path and took in some inspiration from Mother Nature. What a beautiful way to reconnect with God on this Easter weekend.

What were you inspired by this past weekend?
