Can't Hardly Wait

The best parts of my life have always involved my sister being around. Her husband, too, is pretty high on my list as he very willingly took me as the third wheel more times than I can count until I met my own husband. So when they moved away 3 years ago, it was not easy. They are coming to visit today and bringing my two sweet nieces with them, so to say I'm excited might be an understatement.

Whenever I have a guest stay at our house, I always fix up a little tray of sussies to leave on the guest bed. I try to personalize them based on who is coming because I figure after a long trip here, the least I can do is make them feel like I'm happy they've arrived. It's always nice to haul the suitcases up the flight of stairs and find a little tray of goodies to greet you.

Right now my sister is probably schlepping way too much kid gear to the airport and freaking out about how long of a flight it is with 2 kids under the age of 3, so I feel safe in disclosing the contents of her tray before she arrives:

* Lillies
*Trash Mag (such a guilty pleasure)
*Chai Tea
*Burts Bees Lip Balm
*New scrubby (honestly, no one wants to use the one that others have before them)
*Nail polish (The color? Vamp)
*Board book (to entertain both the rugrats on the return flight)
*Short Book (Kim's not much of a reader, but The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox is a fabulous but very short read)
*Mints (my brother-in-law loves these)
*Chocolate (who doesn't want that?)

If you were my weekend guest, what would you want on your tray?
